The Virginia Department of Forestry’s New Kent Conference Center (NKCC) is conveniently located between Richmond and Williamsburg. The NKCC is available for meetings, birthday parties, family reunions, retirement parties, or weddings. The center combines a modern meeting facility with 16 lodging rooms.
Meeting/Conference Facilities
Our main meeting room can accommodate as many as 60 people in a variety of table and seating configurations. The room features a ceiling-mounted display unit capable of projecting PowerPoint and DVD presentations, white boards and podium.
Dining Facilities
We are equipped with a full kitchen for your use and/or your caterer. We offer a refrigerator, double oven, stove, dishwasher, ice machine, microwave, and all utensils and dishes needed.
Event Venue
We can accommodate 125 people for standing room only. For dining in, we offer 15 8-foot rectangle tables and 70 chairs.
Tents, round tables, and folding chairs would need to be provided/rented by the contracting party.
Overnight Accommodations
Our motel-style rooms feature twin beds, cable TV, phone, desk and chair, en-suite bathroom, linens and towels, iron/ironing board, and other amenities to make your stay comfortable.
We offer 15 double-occupancy rooms with 2 twin beds, and 1 single-occupancy room with full handicap accessibility.
Location
Located on Route 60 in Providence Forge, the New Kent Conference Center is the perfect meeting place/event venue.
Reservations
The conference center is available by reservation only and guests are limited to the general area of the conference center. Other areas of the property are restricted to Department of Forestry personnel only.
